Rex 2 works with motioncam and motioncam outdoor motioncam. When activated, they take a series of photos that help to assess the situation in the building. As a result, patrols are less often broadcast unnecessarily and customers have to worry less.

Privacy first

The detector activates the camera when the security system is switched on and the movement is detected. Recordings are encrypted during each step of the transmission. Photos are not processed or analyzed as long as they are stored in the Ajax Cloud. The visual alarm verifications can only be viewed by users with access rights to the events via push notifications and by employees of the security company if the security system is connected to a control room.

Guaranteed confirmation of alarm reports and photo covers

To guarantee reliable communication, we have equipped the Ajax Ringeextender 2 white with four antennas and support with two business -specific radio protocols: Jeweller and Wings. Jeweller is responsible for the transmission of assignments, events and alarms, while Wings guarantees the transfer of visual data packages. The radio communication in two directions of Ajax uses frames to synchronize the communication sessions of the devices, authentication to prevent spoofs and of encryption to prevent data theft.

Radio communication through steel and concrete

With the 2.13 update of the OS Malevich operating system, the Ajax Ringeextender 2 white will not only connect to the hub via radio, but also via Ethernet, where the cable is used as the only or second communication channel. A single Ajax system can then protect facilities such as an office center with underground parking garage or metal hangars with sections, or a warehouse complex with various large buildings.

Improved security system

Rex 2 works as an extra intelligent control panel: it connects devices in an independent group and takes control at the right time. Thanks to the automatic adjustment of the signal power, and image synchronization, an unlimited number of system devices can be connected to Rex 2 - the reliability of the system is therefore not affected. If the radio communication is interrupted for whatever reason, Rex 2 works via Ethernet. If a connection via Ethernet is lost, Rex 2 receives an alarm from a detector and activates a siren to attract attention to the incident and to chase the burglar.

Ready to ward off attacks by intruders

Rex 2 is protected against attacks at software and hardware level. It runs on the OS Malevich operating system, which is immune to viruses. All data sent by the signal amplifier are encrypted. Thanks to the built -in reserve battery, a sudden power failure in a facility is no problem.

Installation without hassle

The connection and configuration process of Rex 2 saves the installer a lot of time .. To add a signal amplifier to the system, you only have to scan a QR code with the Ajax app, give him a name and assign a room to it. The device is also configured in the app in real time. Rex 2 can, if necessary, also be switched off or configured without visiting the place.
